We are seeking 2 full-time Commercial Cleaners to join our team on a permanent basis in Christchurch, Canterbury.

Key Details:

  • Positions: 2

  • Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

  • Hours: Minimum 30 hours per week

  • Location: Christchurch and across the Canterbury Region

  • Pay Rate: $25–$29 per hour, depending on experience

  • Workdays: Monday to Sunday, on a rostered basis - rosters time are in between 6 pm to 6 am

Commercial Cleaner is required to:

  • Vacuuming carpets, curtains
  • Rubbish removal, toilet cleaning, sweeping and mopping, dusting
  • Buffing, polishing, and topical floor coating maintenance including re-waxing and
    polishing floor
  • Applying relevant acids and solvents to remove stains and dirt
  • Cleaning, dusting, and mopping floors and surfaces, ensuring that the area is
    clean of dust, dirt, and rubbish.
  • Operating commercial vaccum cleaners to clean floors and work areas
  • Other relevant tasks

Qualifications
No previous experience or qualification will be required, as training is offered on the job.

 Requirements

  • A full, clean driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle are required for this role.
  • You may be required to travel to different work locations in Christchurch, Timaru, and Ashburton as needed. Travel expenses will be provided by the employer.
  • Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment drug test, if required by the employer.
  • Must be willing to undergo a Ministry of Justice criminal record check, if required by the employer.
