Our client is looking for an organised Site Services & Safety Co-ordinator with strong computer skills and a practical approach to safety to assist in facilities coordination at their busy manufacturing site in Papakura. Reporting to the Site Services Manager, you'll help keep everyday services organised, records accurate and site processes running smoothly. What you'll be doing
- Process purchase orders, receipt orders in the system and maintain accurate purchasing records.
- Coordinate staff, visitor and contractor inductions, keeping training records and site access information up to date.
- Administer permit-to-work documentation, checking details are complete and following up missing information.
- Support safety administration, including PPE supplies, audit preparation and recording follow-up actions.
- Coordinate cleaning, cafeteria, landscaping and waste services, and track maintenance requests through to completion.
- Assist with reception, facilities records, reporting and day-to-day site enquiries.
We're happy to discuss hours of work with the right candidate, expecting Monday to Friday with 8 hour days completed between 7AM and 5PM.
What you'll bring
- Experience in building or facilities management would be ideal, particularly within manufacturing, warehousing or another operational site.
- A practical understanding of workplace safety and the importance of following site procedures.
- Experience processing purchase orders, receipting orders and keeping accurate records.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience using purchasing, maintenance or other business systems.
- Clear communication skills, with a track record of following up enquiries and seeing tasks through.
- Exposure to contractor coordination, site inductions or permit-to-work administration would also be an advantage.
