About the Role

As the Haumaru Whānau Nurse / Midwife Child Protection and Maternal Wellbeing Coordinator, you will work alongside a social worker to lead and coordinate programmes that support maternal wellbeing, child protection, and violence intervention across Hawke's Bay. You will build strong relationships across health, social, and community services, enabling a coordinated response to child protection concerns, family wellbeing, and social harms.

You will also provide clinical leadership, contribute to policy development, undertake audits and quality improvement activities, and support clinicians to strengthen their knowledge and confidence in child protection and violence intervention practice.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and education skills, with the ability to deliver training and support others' learning
