We are currently seeking Two motivated and reliable Front of House staff to join our friendly and dynamic team.

Position Details

Position: Front of House
Location: Auckland Region, New Zealand
Employment Type: Full-Time (minimum 30 hours per week)
Pay Rate: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Rostered shifts including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, public holidays, split shifts, and floating shifts. Applicants must be available to work weekends as required.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidates will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and clearing tables and utensils.
  • Understanding REBURGER’s menu, including burgers, fries, sides, beverages, and explaining menu items while providing recommendations based on customer preferences.
  • Determining customer requirements and advising on product range, price, and delivery.
  • Accepting payment for goods and services by a variety of payment methods and preparing sales invoices
  • Managing online orders received through Uber Eats and other food delivery platforms, ensuring orders are accurate, properly packaged, and ready for collection.
  • Coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure orders are prepared correctly and served to customers in a timely manner.
  • Communicate any issues or incidents to management.
  • Assisting with stock management, monitoring supplies, maintaining product inventories, and participating in stocktakes.
  • Follow established policies, procedures, guidelines, and manuals to ensure compliance, safety, and profitability.
  • Provide assistance and support to other departments and colleagues as needed. 

Skills and Experience Required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong focus on presentation and attention to detail
  • A positive attitude with the ability to learn quickly and work proactively
  • Basic English communication skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Basic mathematical skills for operating the cash register and handling transactions
  • Flexibility to work across all rostered shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties
  • Ability to manually lift items weighing up to 25kg
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and customer service
