Mixed Animal Veterinarian Position

Our client is seeking a mixed animal veterinarian to join a permanent, full-time position combining production animal and companion animal medicine. The role offers a varied caseload, modern clinical resources and the opportunity to strengthen practical skills across both field-based and clinic-based veterinary work.

This position would suit a veterinarian with two to three years of experience who is confident managing routine mixed animal cases and enjoys working collaboratively with experienced colleagues. Early-career applicants with a genuine interest in expanding their production and small animal capabilities will also receive professional guidance and development support.

Qualifications Needed:

  • A veterinary degree recognised by the Veterinary Council of New Zealand
  • Current registration or eligibility to practise as a veterinarian in New Zealand
  • Ideally two to three years of mixed animal clinical experience
  • Confidence working with production and companion animal patients
