We are looking for a motivated and capable Motel Manager to oversee the daily operations of our motel in Whangārei City. Conveniently situated near local businesses and residential areas, our motel aims to provide guests with a comfortable stay and reliable, professional service. We value teamwork, efficiency and a welcoming environment, and are seeking someone with suitable experience and a strong commitment to hospitality to take charge of the property's day-to-day management.

The successful candidate will be an organised and proactive individual with sound leadership abilities and excellent communication skills. Key responsibilities will include coordinating front-office activities, supervising motel facilities, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation, and ensuring that guests receive a positive and satisfactory experience throughout their stay.

The ideal applicant should demonstrate the following:

A qualification in business management, hospitality or tourism, or a  relevant industry experience.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal professionally with guests, suppliers and other business contacts.
Experience in staff training, supervision and team coordination.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and other hours as required by the business.
Good judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle operational issues independently and respond to them in a timely manner.
A good command of English, both spoken and written, is essential for effective communication and daily business operations.
