We're a Thai restaurant on Dominion Road, Mt Eden, Open for lunch and dinner from 11am to 10pm - 7 days a week. We have expanded into a bigger space so need an awesome cook to join our team!

 

The job involves the following tasks and duties:
· Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the restaurant.
· Seasoning food during preparation and cooking, when necessary.
· Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking, and presentation.
· Assisting in improving dishes.
· Assisting in managing the overall operation of the kitchen.
· Assisting in ordering supplies and stock.
· Ensuring the kitchen’s operation complies with hygiene and safety regulations.

 

To qualify for the job:
· At least one year of work experience in the Kitchen is needed.
· A certificate in a Cookery-related field can replace the required work experience.
· Have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours.
· You will be required to work during the weekend.
· You should also have good attention to detail to make sure everything that goes through your hands is thoroughly cleaned.
