Guaranteed minimum hours: 30 hours per week

Three of a Kind is looking for an organised and motivated Bar Manager to manage our daily bar operations, lead our team and deliver excellent customer service.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Plan, organise and oversee daily bar operations.

  • Recruit, train, roster and supervise bar staff.

  • Maintain high standards of beverage preparation, presentation and customer service.

  • Manage stock levels, place orders, liaise with suppliers and minimise wastage.

  • Monitor sales, operating costs and budgets.

  • Oversee cash handling, till reconciliation and daily sales records.

  • Manage customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally.

  • Supervise security and maintain a clean and well-presented venue.

  • Ensure staff follow responsible alcohol service practices and applicable licensing, health and safety requirements.

  • Coordinate promotions and events to attract customers and encourage repeat business.

Skills and experience

  • At least 2 years of relevant bar or hospitality management experience OR relevant Diploma or higher qualification in hospitality or business management

  • Strong leadership, communication and customer service skills.

  • Experience managing staff, stock, cash handling and operating costs.

  • Sound knowledge of beverages and responsible alcohol service.

  • A current LCQ is must.

  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
