Massage Therapist

Spring Body Care Limited T/A Cosmic Hands Massage is a Rotorua-based company. We are looking for several Massage Therapists to join our team. These are full-time roles with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week.

Main Duty

Provide therapeutic massage and body treatments to support health, fitness, and rehabilitation needs.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Apply massage techniques to soft tissues, including muscles, tendons, and ligaments, to support healing.
• Use various massage methods to treat soft tissue and reduce the risk of injury.
• Provide treatments to encourage relaxation, improve circulation, and relieve muscle tension.
• Evaluate and address soft tissue dysfunctions and provide rehabilitation guidance.
• Incorporate additional approaches such as acupressure, Shiatsu, infrared lamps, wet compresses, ice, essential oils, and herbal or mineral therapies.
• Review client histories and physical conditions to recommend stretching exercises and relaxation techniques.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment and keep accurate treatment records.

The successful candidate must have:

• At least two years of relevant work experience OR a relevant NZQF Level 5 qualification or higher.
• Good work attitude and good communication skills.
• Strong motivation.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong dedication to health and workplace safety.
