Key Responsibilities

  • Greet customers, take food and beverage orders, and provide friendly and efficient
    customer service.
  • Prepare and serve simple food and beverages in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
  • Process takeaway orders, package food and ensure orders are accurate and ready for collection.
  • Operate cash registers and EFTPOS terminals, process payments and maintain accurate transaction records.
  • Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation, portioning and food presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in food preparation, service and customer areas.
  • Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies and assist with receiving and storing food ingredients and packaging materials.
  • Handle customer enquiries and feedback, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Follow food safety procedures and workplace health and safety requirements.

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • No formal qualification required.
  • Six months work experience in the hospitality industry preferred
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, public holidays and rostered shifts.
