An opportunity has arisen for an energetic and friendly person to join our Aarish Krishna Limited team to assist with the day-to-day operation of our on-site kitchen and Busy Restaurant. The Restaurant is located in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty.

We have 2 full-time positions in our Company. Experience is not required However, Previous Hospitality Experience will be prioritized. On-site training will be provided. We have 2 positions available for the Front Of House.

The Responsibilities of the position are cited below.

An hourly rate of $25.00 will be paid for this position. Minimum hours of 30 hours will be granted each contract.

  • serve guests to the restaurant's standards and maintain a comfortable dining environment.
  • maintain a stock of necessary beverages and condiments at the bar.
  • Ensure guests stay safe and orderly within the restaurant.
  • clean tables and other surfaces, set tables and ensure they're ready for the next guest if Necessary.
  • Deal with supplier for stock and inventory, if required.
  • Assessing and improving profitability, and making improvements to the running of the business, and developing the restaurant, supervised by the Manager.
  • Creating a staffing roster and planning menus, if required.

Applicants Must Have 

  • You must be available to work during nights, on weekends, and public holidays.
  •  Due to the nature of our client’s businesses, you must also pass a drug test and have a clear criminal record (if required).
  • Driver’s license required.
  • Applicants must be physically fit as needed to operate different cleaning Machines, if Required.
  • Must have a New Zealand Residence or New Zealand Working visa.
