Driftwood Café is offering an exciting opportunity for a Barista/Customer Service staff member to join our team. The café is located in Orewa, and we are currently looking for a full-time Barista/Customer Service staff to become part of our team.

MAIN TASKS:

 Direct, Oversee, and manage café daily operations.
 Maintain a high level of guest satisfaction by overseeing the whole café’s activities.
 Suggest changes to operating standards to improve the efficiency of work.
 Increase occupancy and profitability and promote cafe services and amenities through up-selling strategies.
 Proactive management of customer feedback and complaints ensuring positive  esolutions for the customers.
 Receive and process payments.
 Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance
needs.
 Responsible for making coffee and other hot / cold beverages.
 Keeping the café clean and helping with general cleaning around the café and
facilities area.
 Responsible for health and safety procedures in the café.
