Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Retail Manager for the head branch (main establishment) provide services for the entire

business functions. Cyclo Lambton Quay Limited runs four Where’s Charlie restaurant

branches in Wellington region. Please note that our chefs are Vietnamese and we are

specialised in the Vietnamese cuisines. Being able to communicate in Vietnamese and

have some good understanding of ingredients used for Vietnamese cuisines are

preferable.

Internal :

 Communicate with our Managers and Vietnamese chefs with regards to

daily/weekly specials customers’ special dietary requirements to build menu and

run promotion for business development.

 Encourage and motivate your team to reach new levels of success not only

customer services but also profit record.

 Managing more than one retail operations

External:

 Resolve customer’s complaints, communicate with other franchised branches.

 Organize monthly meeting with other managers.

 Grow sales in four Where’s Charlie restaurant branches in Wellington region

 Be accountable for the overall performance of all branches

 Manage costs and be responsible for the P&L for entire business functions

 Act with integrity and build a positive team culture

 Develop growth strategy focused on both financial gain and customer

satisfaction

 Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs

 Responsible to help organisation obtain better brand recognition and financial

growth

 Meeting with potential franchise owners and discuss about expanding the

business

 Managing staff from all stores across the brand and managing staff from all

branches to ensure smooth operation. Meet and have close contact with store

managers to resolve any issues among staff or customers.

 Determining food mix, stock levels and service standards

 Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies, and setting

prices

 Maintaining records of stock levels and financial transactions

 Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations

Pay rate: Minimum $32/ hour Maximum $40/ hour

Guaranteed hours of work per week: Minimum 30 hours, permanent full-time

Requirements for the job:

 At least 02 years of relevant work experience in business development

OR management relevant or relevant Diploma qualification or above

 Being able to communicate in Vietnamese and having some good understanding of

ingredients used for Vietnamese cuisines are preferable.

 Proven operational and procedural knowledge.

 Formulating and implementing purchasing and marketing policies.

 Strong customer service & problem solving skills

 Building relationships with locals to build franchised branches

 Demonstrated ability to coach team members Full time availability, always available on weekends and public holidays. Able to do

both of morning and evening shifts across a 7 days roster

 Proven undertaking budgeting and developing expansion, brandname for business

 Good management skills, be well organized and capable of multitasking

 No criminal record

 Candidates need to be NZ citizens/residents
