Are you a passionate Clinical Psychologist ready to help shape the future of community-based mental health and addiction care? You’ll join a multidisciplinary team delivering strengths-based, recovery-focused care in a dynamic, evolving service model that integrates mental health, addiction, and community support.

About the Role:
  • Deliver evidence-based psychological assessments and treatment
  • Support tangata whaiora with moderate to severe mental health and addiction needs
  • Collaborate with whānau, community partners, and health professionals
  • Help build an integrated model of care that’s holistic and person-centred
  • Engage in or train towards delivering DBT in a service with an established programme

About You: To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:
  • Registration with the New Zealand Psychologists Board (Clinical Scope)
  • Experience in adult mental health and/or addiction settings
  • Strong therapeutic skills in CBT, DBT, ACT, or related modalities
  • Cultural awareness and a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, compassionate approach
  • A genuine desire to walk alongside whaiora on their recovery journey
Experience with Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is a plus, but training can be provided if you’re passionate about learning.
