Our menu showcases a fusion of Kiwi/European influences with tantalising Asian flavours, celebrating diversity and culinary creativity. As we embark on our journey to success, we are currently seeking 2 Cooks to join our team.

About the role - Kitchenhand

As part of this role, you will be expected to perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to the following:

·         Cleaning kitchens, food preparation areas sculleries

·         Cleaning utensils and general things in the kitchen and restaurant

·         Transferring, weighing and checking supplies and equipment

·         Assembling and preparing ingredients for cooking

·         Packing food and beverage trays for serving

·         Cooking, toasting, and heating simple food items

·         Tidying up the food preparation areas

·         Making sure that the dishes/utensils are stored properly

·         Disposing of kitchen rubbish and food waste

·         Washing kitchen linens

·         Adhering to the company’s procedure for food hygiene and health & safety.

An ideal candidate should be:

  • At least 2 years of work expereince in a similar environment. 
  • Able to work in a multicultural environment
  • Team player and ability to work under pressure
  • Must be able to work across any shifts
  • Must be fit, reliable and self-motivated

Pay & Benefits

·         Full time permanent employment.

·         Minimum of 30 hours/week guaranteed.

·         Pate rate ranges between $23.50 to $25.00/hour.

·         Friendly, and supportive working environment.
