Massage Shop Manager

We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Massage Shop Manager to join our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our store. This is a leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily operations of the massage shop to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery

  • Supervise and coordinate massage therapists and support staff, including roster management and performance reviews

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and professional standards

  • Monitor inventory and manage supply ordering within budget

  • Handle client complaints, feedback, and ensure customer satisfaction

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase customer engagement and sales

  • Maintain financial records, track revenue/expenses, and assist with payroll processing

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and staff training

  • Ensure the workplace maintains cleanliness, hygiene, and a welcoming atmosphere

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organisational and time management abilities

  • Knowledge of retail or service business operation and customer service excellence

  • Proficiency in basic business software (e.g. Microsoft Excel, POS systems)

  • At least two years of experience in manufacturing or food production management.

  • or a Level 5 relevant qulification in Business, Management, or a related field or Bachelor's qualification  is in any field may substitute the experiences

Employment Conditions:

  • Full-time, minimum of 30 hours per week

  • Pay range: $27 – $32/hour depending on skills and experience

  • Work may include weekends or public holidays, with appropriate days off

  • Located in Auckland, NZ
