We are now looking for a Cafe Manager to join our busy restaurant located in Lake Tekapo, South Island New Zealand.

As our Café Manager, you are expected to ensure the overall smooth and effective operation of of our café. Your day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to:

·       Execute and maintain the department standards and objectives to provide excellent customer service

·       Determine the work requirements and assign tasks to Front of House team.

·       Oversee and aim to improve performance of the Front of House team, ensuring warmest welcome and smooth services provided to meet our customer expectations

·       Ensure establishment's compliance with health and safety regulations

·       Respond and handle customer inquiries, aiming to improve review rate and menus (working with our kitchen team)

·       Maintain attendance and rosters at the cafe, assisting in hiring and interviewing process if needed.

To be qualified for this role, you need to:

·       Have 3-year or more relevant experience, or a diploma with knowledge in business/management.

·       Multi-tasking and work under pressure

·       Be able to start early and work through weekends and public holidays

·       Have your own transportation to work

·       Be physically fit and a people person

·       Can-do attitude and management skills to lead a team.

For the right candidate, we offer an hourly rate from $29-$31 with a guaranteed 30 hours per week.
