We are looking for a duty manager to join our team.
Requirements

At least 2 years of work experience at the management level in any industry, including as an assistant manager, manager in training, or supervisor, OR

At least a related NZ Register Diploma Level 5 qualification, such as Business Administration (Hotel and Tourism or another relevant field)

Must have a Licence Controller Qualification approved by NZQA

Must have work experience in the customer service field

Must have knowledge of Thai food ingredients, as we take food allergies seriously
Job Descriptions

Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities.

Act as a Duty Manager, ensuring business operations comply with company policies and regulations.

Oversee and manage staff performance, including training and mentoring.

Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory.

Ensure workplace health and safety compliance.

Implement and maintain high service standards.

Conduct shift handovers and ensure all key operational updates are communicated effectively.

Assist in financial transactions, including cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting.

Liaise with senior management and provide regular updates on business operations.
Other Details

This is a full-time and permanent position

The wage is between $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, with weekly payments

Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

You will be working at 149 Ocean View Road, Oneroa, Waiheke Island
-
You will work according to a roaster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 40 hours.
