We are looking for a duty manager to join our team.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of work experience at the management level in any industry, including as an assistant manager, manager in training, or supervisor, OR

  • At least a related NZ Register Diploma Level 5 qualification, such as Business Administration (Hotel and Tourism or another relevant field)

  • Must have a Licence Controller Qualification approved by NZQA

  • Must have work experience in the customer service field

  • Must have knowledge of Thai food ingredients, as we take food allergies seriously

Job Descriptions

  • Supervise and coordinate daily operational activities.

  • Act as a Duty Manager, ensuring business operations comply with company policies and regulations.

  • Oversee and manage staff performance, including training and mentoring.

  • Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

  • Monitor stock levels, order supplies, and manage inventory.

  • Ensure workplace health and safety compliance.

  • Implement and maintain high service standards.

  • Conduct shift handovers and ensure all key operational updates are communicated effectively.

  • Assist in financial transactions, including cash handling, reconciliation, and reporting.

  • Liaise with senior management and provide regular updates on business operations.

Other Details

  • This is a full-time and permanent position

  • The wage is between $27.00 to $30.00 per hour, with weekly payments

  • Holiday pay and sick leave will be paid according to the law

  • You will be working at 149 Ocean View Road, Oneroa, Waiheke Island

  • You will work according to a roaster 5 - 6 days each week with a guarantee of 40 hours.
