We are a Fast-Food restaurant [Pizza shop] looking for an enthusiastic and capable candidate for the Shop Assistant [Restaurant Assistant] position to assist in running the day-to-day operations of our busy store.
No qualification or work experience required, we will provide all the necessary training. It is a Full-time role working minimum 30 hours per week including evening shifts and weekends, we need people who are committed and turn up to work on time unless they have a reasonable excuse.

You would be required to perform the following duties not limited to:

Greet and assist customers in a professional manner.

Take customer orders accurately (in person, over the phone, or online).

Provide information about menu items, ingredients, and special offers.

Address concerns or complaints promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Prepare pizza dough, toppings, and other menu items according to the restaurant’s standards.

Assemble and garnish pizzas before cooking.
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
-
Follow hygiene and food safety standards in food handling and preparation.

Operate pizza ovens and bake pizzas to the correct temperature and quality.

Monitor cooking times to ensure pizzas are cooked properly.

Regularly clean and maintain the pizza oven.
-
Clean kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment following health and safety regulations.

Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping tables and stocking restrooms.

Ensure proper waste disposal and recycling practices.
-
Manage stock inventory, including checking ingredients like cheese, sauce, dough, toppings, etc.

Place orders for supplies when necessary.

Rotate and manage stock effectively to avoid wastage.

Work closely with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth service during peak hours.

Assist team members in their duties as needed.

Follow instructions from supervisors and work in a team-oriented environment.

Handle cash transactions, including receiving payments, giving change, and using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

Help with order packing and delivery for take-out or delivery services when required.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Ensure compliance with local health department regulations.
