About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Anaesthetic Technician to join our team in New Zealand. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility, supporting a range of surgical procedures and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

As an Anaesthetic Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting Anaesthetists, maintaining anaesthetic equipment, and ensuring patient safety before, during, and after procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Anaesthetists in the preparation and delivery of anaesthesia
  • Maintain, prepare, and operate specialist anaesthetic equipment
  • Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations
  • Adhere to strict infection control and patient safety protocols
  • Work collaboratively with surgeons, nurses, and theatre staff
  • Ensure compliance with New Zealand health and safety regulations

About You

  • Current registration with the Medical Sciences Council of New Zealand (MSCNZ)
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand
  • Minimum 2 years' recent experience in an anaesthetic role
  • Strong knowledge of anaesthetic equipment and patient monitoring
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced surgical environment
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
