Cafe Manager Required

We are looking for a suitable Cafe Manager for our busy Cafe in Te Puke. You will need to have an excellent work ethic and will be prepared to have some early mornings and late nights. Ideally, you will be able to use your knowledge, skills and experience to research new ideas about how we can grow and expand our business. 

Daily Tasks Involved in the role:
Duties are Dealing with suppliers,  completing hiring, training and supervision of staff, providing excellent customer service, marketing and promoting the Cafe, maintaining quality standards, budgeting, ordering and maintaining stock and completing the financial management of the Cafe.

We are looking for a mature staff member who are able to work on their own without any supervision and minimal training. They must be able to communicate to a diverse range of people and be able to maintain professional customer service in any circumstance.

We require the applicant to have at least a qualification at Diploma level or higher OR at least three years of relevant work experience. You must have the ability to think on your feet, multitask, and have a passion for excellent customer service. A high standard of hygiene is also required as this is a food business.

We can guarantee at least 30 hours of work per week for this position. We are happy to pay between $31 per hour and $33 per hour for this role. 

Due to the nature of the position, you may be subject to drug testing prior to the provision of an Offer of Employment.
