Job description
We are looking for a dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of
our restaurant, ensuring high-quality service and efficient management.


Key Responsibilities:

  •  Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient
    service.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate the team to maintain a high standard of
    customer service.
  • Create and manage staff rosters based on business demand.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health, and operational regulations.
  • Monitor and manage stock levels, liaising with suppliers to maintain inventory
    efficiency.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve any issues to maintain a positive
    dining experience.
  • Manage budgets, operational costs, and financial reports related to the venue.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming restaurant environment.

 

Job Pre-requisites:

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in hospitality
  •  Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a diverse
    team and ability to train staff, performance management and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth daily
    operations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to engage with staff,
    customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to create and manage staff rosters, ensuring appropriate staffing levels.
  • Knowledge in stock management, supplier negotiations, and maintaining
    efficient inventory levels.
  • High attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean, organized, and
    compliant venue at all times.
  • Knowledge of food safety and workplace health regulations.
  • Open full-time work right in New Zealand
  • Bachelor’s degree in business would be an advantage
  • Speaking Spanish is a plus due to the nature of the business and the fact that it is a Mexican Restaurant

 

  • 5 days per week, including at least one day of the weekend, from 11:30am to 5:30pm
