Minimum 30 hours per week

$25 - $27 per hour based on experience

We need a passionate Front of House Team Member / All Rounder for our busy Tauranga-based café.  

We are a busy café operating 6 days a week with a loyal group of regular customers regularly returning for our top customer service, great coffee & superb food.  

As an FOH all-rounder, you will be a key part of this by providing attentive customer service and performing some administrative duties.

This is a hybrid type role in a small business, and we are looking for someone who is confident in their ability and can hit the ground running.

There is some element of administrative work involved given the small nature of our business and the ‘all-rounder’ type position.

Duties include:

● Counter service and table service

● Serving food & drinks

● Making beverages (coffee-making skills an advantage but not essential for the right candidate, this can be learnt on the job)

● Providing all round fabulous service including doing dishes and helping with basic preparation in kitchen  

● Describing menu items and suggesting menu options to customers

● Monitoring café feedback systems

● Communicating with vendors and ordering supplies, as needed (e.g. takeaway cups, coffee beans, milk and other ingredients)

● Regularly maintaining/updating stocktake records

Experience:

● This is not an entry-level job in the sense that we are a small business and do require some experience and confidence so the ideal candidate can hit the ground running

● Our ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience or a relevant qualification preferably in hospitality, business or similar
