Thai on Lunn Limited is a busy and growing restaurant in Auckland. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food and service. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive hourly rate of $28–$34, based on your qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and a high-quality customer experience
  • Lead and manage both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management
  • Develop and implement effective operational procedures and strategies
  • Monitor stock levels, place orders, and liaise with suppliers to maintain consistent inventory
  • Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health and safety regulations
  • Manage budgets, control operational costs, and achieve financial targets
  • Support marketing and promotional initiatives to drive customer engagement and revenue

Skills and Experience required:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a managerial role (restaurant or hospitality is desirable), OR
  • A relevant qualification in Hospitality or Business Management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Solid understanding of business operations and financial management in the hospitality industry
  • Knowledge and appreciation of Thai cuisine is highly desirable
