Thai on Lunn Limited is a busy and growing restaurant in Auckland. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional food and service. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive hourly rate of $28–$34, based on your qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and a high-quality customer experience
- Lead and manage both front-of-house and back-of-house teams, including recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management
- Develop and implement effective operational procedures and strategies
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and liaise with suppliers to maintain consistent inventory
- Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and health and safety regulations
- Manage budgets, control operational costs, and achieve financial targets
- Support marketing and promotional initiatives to drive customer engagement and revenue
Skills and Experience required:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a managerial role (restaurant or hospitality is desirable), OR
- A relevant qualification in Hospitality or Business Management
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Solid understanding of business operations and financial management in the hospitality industry
- Knowledge and appreciation of Thai cuisine is highly desirable
