The Raglan Wharf Kitchen & Bar is a Raglan favourite, located (as the name suggests) at the popular wharf, with views overlooking the harbour. We serve fresh, seasonal cuisine in a relaxed bistro environment. We are open 7 days and can accommodate up to 100 guests. An opportunity has arisen for a Manager to take full charge of the day-to-day running of the business.

Key Responsibilities
As our Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring excellence in service, food quality, and guest satisfaction. Your duties will include:

Menu Development: Collaborate with kitchen staff to plan and update menus, balancing creativity with cost efficiency.
- Inventory & Purchasing: Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and budget-friendly purchasing.

Financial Oversight: Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and staff payroll.

Compliance & Hygiene: Ensure all dining facilities meet health and safety regulations.

Customer Engagement: Interact with guests to gather feedback and resolve any concerns.

Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff.

Front-of-House Support: Assist with reservations, greeting guests, and service during peak times.
- Special Functions: Organize and manage special functions, private dining, and promotional events.

Proven experience in & a passion for hospitality.
- A strong work ethic and determination/ability to step up and succeed as a Manager.

Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

Outstanding customer service skills.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
