About Us:
HY Engineering LTD is an Auckland based and small but growing company specializing in welding and spray painting services for construction projects. We are now seeking a reliable and organized Office Manager to support our daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, small business environment and is willing to grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities:

Handle daily administrative tasks such as filing, organizing documents, managing emails and phone calls

Assist with preparing quotes, invoices, purchase orders, and basic client contracts

Support basic bookkeeping tasks and coordinate with the external accountant

Help manage the Director’s calendar and project-related coordination

Communicate with clients, suppliers, and contractors as needed

Maintain employee records and assist with health & safety documentation
-
Provide general support to the workshop team, including tracking materials and scheduling
Requirements:
- A minimum of an NZQF Level 4 qualification in a related business or management field or a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
Alternatively, at least two years of relevant work experience management or a similar role. -
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

Strong organizational and communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email)

Basic knowledge of bookkeeping or willingness to learn

Comfortable in a small, hands-on work environment
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required due to business needs
