Housekeeping Manager

We're seeking an experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead a dedicated team and uphold our renowned standards of excellence.

As Housekeeping Manager, you will take ownership of the cleanliness, presentation, and maintenance of The Landing Residences, Winery, and back-of-house areas. You will play a key leadership role, reporting directly to the Residences Manager, who is committed to mentoring the right candidate in the exclusive lodge sector.

This is a hands-on management role that includes team leadership, staff development, process improvement, and ensuring our guests experience the ultimate in comfort and elegance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, recruit, train, and manage the housekeeping team
• Maintain The Landing’s residences and facilities to the highest standard
• Manage departmental supplies and rosters
• Oversee laundry services including guest garments and lodge linens
• Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Contribute to health and safety planning and compliance
• Support and report to the Residences Manager on operational performance

About You:

• Proven experience in housekeeping leadership, or a strong background as a housekeeping supervisor ready to progress
• Experience in luxury hospitality or private yachting highly regarded
• Exceptional attention to detail and high personal standards
• Strong communication and team management skills
• Confident with budgeting, rostering, and stock control
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
• Proactive and solutions-focused
• Reliable transport and valid NZ work rights (no visa sponsorship available)
