Our Japanese cuisine restaurant-Kajiken which is based in Auckland is seeking a couple of Cooks to join our team. As a cook, you will be responsible for the preparation, cooking, and presentation of authentic Japanese dishes in a culinary setting. The role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for Japanese cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- prepare vegetables and othe ingredients under the direction of the chef
- Be solely responsible for the cleaning of both the inside the kitchen and outside eating area.
- Maintenance of dishes as required.
- Preparation of customer' s order.
- Following directions toward portion control cooking standards and wastage.
- Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food.
- Following all hygiene and Health and Safety regulations within the kitchen.
- Any other duties the manager/chef may reasonably require.
