About the Role - Duty Manager:
As the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy restaurant. You will ensure that all aspects of service run smoothly, maintain high standards of food safety, and foster a positive work environment. Your leadership will be key to delivering top-notch customer service and achieving our business goals. Your responsibilities will include:

Motivate and lead a team of service staff to provide exceptional customer service.

Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service.

Maintain a customer-centric focus, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons.

Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure proper stock levels for smooth store operations.

Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to contribute to the restaurant's profitability.

Create and manage staff schedules, balancing workload and optimising labour costs.

Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and promote career growth.

Assist with staff recruitment.

Support overall business management and strategic planning.

Prepare and maintain daily sales reports, cash reconciliation and petty cash.

Promote menu items, create specials and undertake the necessary advertising.

Ensure compliance with all Pizza Hut policies and local regulations, including health and safety standards.
Qualification, Experience, and Attributes Required:

Proven experience of at least 2 years in a supervisory or duty manager role within the hospitality industry or a relevant level 5 or higher qualification.

Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.

Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, informed decisions.

Pay and Benefits:

Full-time permanent employment.

Minimum of 30 hours/week guaranteed.

Hourly rate ranges between $26 - $31.00.
