We are looking for two dedicated Duty Managers who are passionate about leading a team, maintaining inventory and upholding quality standards.

About the Role - Duty Manager:

As the Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy restaurant. You will ensure that all aspects of service run smoothly, maintain high standards of food safety, and foster a positive work environment. Your leadership will be key to delivering top-notch customer service and achieving our business goals. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Motivate and lead a team of service staff to provide exceptional customer service.

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service.

  • Maintain a customer-centric focus, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons.

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure proper stock levels for smooth store operations.

  • Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to contribute to the restaurant's profitability.

  • Create and manage staff schedules, balancing workload and optimising labour costs.

  • Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and promote career growth.

  • Assist with staff recruitment.

  • Support overall business management and strategic planning.

  • Prepare and maintain daily sales reports, cash reconciliation and petty cash.

  • Promote menu items, create specials and undertake the necessary advertising.

  • Ensure compliance with all Pizza Hut policies and local regulations, including health and safety standards.

Qualification, Experience, and Attributes Required:

  • Proven experience of at least 2 years in a supervisory or duty manager role within the hospitality industry or a relevant level 5 or higher qualification.

  • Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and cost control.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, informed decisions.

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.

  • Excellent food hygiene practices.

  • Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

  • High standard of personal hygiene and presentation.

  • Punctual, organised, and capable of multitasking with attention to detail.

  • Team player with effective communication skills.

  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Full-time permanent employment.

  • Minimum of 30 hours/week guaranteed.

  • Hourly rate ranges between $26 - $31.00.
