Fantasy Korean Cuisine Limited is located in Auckland Central. We provide top-class Korean-style BBQ and other Asian food. We now need two Cooks to help us provide top-quality food and service. This is a full-time job with guaranteed working hours of 30 hours per week, but you will normally be required to work around 40 hours.

The job involves the following tasks and duties:  

· Preparing and cooking all the dishes offered by the restaurant

· Seasoning food during preparation and cooking, when necessary

· Monitoring the quality of food at all stages of preparation, cooking, and presentation

· Assisting in improving dishes

· Assisting in managing the overall operation of the kitchen

· Assisting in ordering supplies and stocks

· Ensuring the kitchen’s operation complies with hygiene and safety regulations.

 

To qualify for the job:

· At least two years of work experience in cooking Chinese Cuisine is needed.

· A relevant diploma or a bachelor's degree in any field can replace the required work experience.

· Have a can-do attitude and be able to work under pressure since our restaurant is extremely busy during peak hours.

· You may be required to work during the weekend

· You should also have good attention to detail to make sure everything that goes through your hands is thoroughly clean
