We are seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our busy team in Hamilton. This is a full-time role (minimum of 35 hours a week, maximum 40 hours per week).

The Role

You are fully responsible for managing the daily operations and all other activities of the restaurant.

Key duties and Responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for planning and organising special functions

  • Being responsible for budgeting, 

  • being responsible for the recruitment procedure, including selecting, training and supervising staff. 

  • being responsible for organizing and supervising the shifts of kitchen and waiting staff, 

  • being responsible for working with chefs and to plan menus, 

  • being responsible for conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service,

  • being responsible for controlling the stock level

  • being responsible for ordering supplies.

  • being responsible for controlling the daily financial transaction 

  • being responsible for ensuring the established standards of food safety and sanitation are maintained.

  • Being responsible for ensure a safe and secure working environment for employees and customers.

Our successful applicants will have:

  • Works well under pressure 

  • Diploma or above qualification in Tourism/Management/Business or at least 3 years’ relevant work experience may substitute the qualification.
