Candidate requirements

  1. ·         At least 2 to 3 years of experience in customer service or a relevant qualification at the Diploma level.
  2. ·         Working in a Restaurant would be preferred but not necessary

Job responsibilities include:

  1. ·         Plan and organise the restaurant's daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and service flow.
  2. ·         Develop and implement service standards to enhance customer satisfaction and efficiency
  3. ·         Supervise the activities of the kitchen, dining, and service staff to ensure effective operations.
  4. ·         Delegate tasks and coordinate with team members to maintain a high standard of service.
  5. ·         Monitor customer satisfaction and handle complaints, aiming to create a positive dining experience.
  6. ·         Promote and maintain good customer relations to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
  7. ·         Recruit, hire, and train new staff, ensuring they understand service standards and health regulations.
  8. ·         Assist in planning menus in consultation with chefs, keeping in line with customer preferences and cost requirements.
  9. ·         Develop budgets, monitor sales, and control operating expenses to ensure profitability.
  10. ·         Manage cash handling, including opening and closing cash registers, and prepare financial reports as required.
  11. ·         Organise and promote special events or seasonal promotions to attract customers.
  12. ·         Ensure compliance with local food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
