BAKER – RED SEA HOSPITALITY LIMITED

Key Responsibilities

  1. Preparing Ingredients

  • Measure and mix ingredients like flour, sugar, yeast, and water according to recipes.

  1. Baking Products

  • Operate ovens and other baking equipment to bake bread, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods.

  1. Quality Control

  • Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure products are baked properly and consistently.

  1. Recipe Development and Adjustment

  • Follow standard recipes and sometimes modify or develop new recipes for products.

  1. Dough Preparation and Handling

  • Knead, proof, and shape dough as required for different bakery items.

  1. Maintaining Cleanliness

  • Clean workstations, equipment, and tools to maintain hygiene standards.

  1. Inventory Management

  • Monitor stock levels of baking ingredients and reorder supplies when necessary.

  1. Packaging and Presentation

  • Package baked goods attractively for sale and ensure proper labeling.

  1. Health and Safety Compliance

  • Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

  1. Customer Service (if applicable)

  • Assist customers, take orders, and provide information about bakery products.


Job Requirements:

  • At least  1 year of experience as a baker in restaurants, eateries, schools, or company kitchens.

  • In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and current food trends.

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to handle urgent situations effectively.

  • A food safety certification and fire safety training are a plus.

Salary & Working Conditions

  • Competitive salary from $30.00 to $45.00.
  • Minimum of 30 hours per week, with a maximum of 50 hours per week, based on business needs from 9am to 9pm seven days a week, with guaranteed working hours of no more than 10 hours per day.
  • Permanent full-time position with career growth opportunities.
