Experienced Commercial Housekeeper

Join Our Queenstown Cleaning Team!

We have 2 positions available for experienced commercial housekeepers to join our friendly team in Queenstown. We manage 20 apartments and we are located in central Queenstown.

$25-$27 per hour

Your duties and responsibilities

A Housekeeper does more than sweep, mop and wax floors in a home or hotel. They run errands and manage the wardrobe as well. In some places, they repair things. Other duties and responsibilities of a Housekeeper may include:

• Dusting and polishing furniture and fixtures

• Cleaning and sanitizing toilets, showers/bathtubs, countertops, and sinks

•Maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen area

• Making beds and changing linens

• Washing windows

• Vacuuming and cleaning carpets and rugs

• Sweeping/vacuuming, polishing, and mopping hard floors

• Sorting, washing, loading, and unloading laundry

• Ironing linen. 

• Using any cleaning equipment such as vacuums, mops, and other cleaning tools 

•Keeping bathrooms stocked with clean linens, toiletries, and other supplies 

•Cleaning mirrors and other glass surfaces

• Emptying trash receptacles and disposing of waste

• Steaming and cleaning draperies

• Washing blinds

• Tidying up rooms

• Monitoring cleaning supplies and ordering more as needed

• Reporting any necessary repairs or replacements

• Work with the team and make sure that the high standards are always maintained

and all commitments are met.

• Carry out additional general duties when required

What We're Looking For

Cleaning experience in a commercial setting is required
Fit, reliable, and good at working alone or in a team
Own car + driver’s licence
Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays
Good command of English
Legal right to work in New Zealand
