Job Description:

Excellent opportunity to join a successful and well-established Auckland based Thai restaurant and become a part of team in the kitchen.

This job is required to perform: (specific duty tasks)

  • Setting up and preparing tables before each opening for customers
  • Greeting customers and handing out food menus and beverage lists
  • Answering questions about menu specialities and matching drinks
  • Taking orders and passing them to kitchen staff to prepare
  • Serving food and beverages to customers at the highest service standard
  • Cleaning tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen when customers finish dining
  • Calculating payments for the order and collecting money using the cash registration machines
  • Reporting to management on any issues that require attention, such as customer
  • complaints, restocking needs and potential hazards at work

Job requirement: applicant must meet following requirement to apply for this job

  • Have at least 2 years of relevant experience in Thai restaurant; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in any major and some relevant experience in Thai restaurant
  • AND Have the knowledge of Thai food
