We are looking for a Motel Manager, who will be responsible for the overall operation and management of the motel, ensuring efficient daily operations, exceptional guest experiences, and optimal financial performance. This role requires strong leadership, strategic decision-making, and hands-on involvement in all aspects of the business, including reservations, pricing strategies, staff management, and property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations & Revenue Management:
- Direct and oversee daily operations, including reservations, reception, and housekeeping, ensuring smooth workflows and high service standards.
- Monitor real-time room availability and dynamically adjust room pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.
- Develop seasonal and quarterly pricing plans based on market trends, competitor analysis, and historical data.
- Supervise security, maintenance, and property upkeep to ensure a safe, clean, and well-presented motel.
2. Financial Management & Reporting:
- Analyze occupancy rates, revenue performance, and expense reports to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy in billing, invoicing, and commission payouts.
- Process and verify commissions for booking agents, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and budgeting, maintaining cost control while optimizing profitability.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising guest satisfaction.
3. Guest Relations & Business Development:
- Assess customer satisfaction through reviews and feedback, addressing concerns and improving service quality.
- Provide local tourism information and assist guests with transportation or tour arrangements.
- Build and maintain relationships with third-party booking agents, OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), and corporate clients to drive bookings.
4. Staff Leadership & Compliance:
- Recruit, train, and schedule front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance staff, ensuring efficient operations.
- Enforce occupational health and safety regulations, maintaining compliance with local laws.
- Conduct regular staff meetings to align on performance goals and operational improvements.
Pay rate: Minimum $30/hour, Maximum $38/hour
Guaranteed hours of work per week: Minimum 30 hours, permanent full time
Requirements for the job:
Qualification in Diploma or above; if no qualification, at least 1 year of relevant work experience (hospitality or tourism or management) is required.
Management training will be provided after you join us
