Caregiver Needed - High Needs Child (Autism) – Compassionate, Reliable, and Experienced

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and reliable full-time caregiver for a 13-year-old child diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and classified as very high needs.

Responsibilities:

·                Provide 24-hour supervision in a structured, supportive environment

·                Maintain and implement a strict behavioural routine

·                Administer multiple daily medications, including:

o        Risperidone

o        Melatonin

o        Lactulose

o        Daily suppositories

·                Manage personal care, emotional regulation support, and daily activities

·                Ensure safety, consistency, and calmness at all times

Requirements:

·         Previous experience of atleast 2 to 3 years caring for individuals with Autism or similar settings is required.

·         Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.

·         Strong communication skills and reliability.

·         CPR and first aid certification preferred.

·         Ability to follow a care plan and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.

 

Schedule: Fixed term for 3 years. 40 hours per week.

Payrate: $28 to $32
