Main Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate and manage subordinates and facilitate effective communications in allocating tasks and obtaining resources. 

  • Keep the designated work area, designated equipment working properly. 

  • Operate equipment working safely and correctly according to company’s procedures. 

  • Demonstrate teamwork by helping others when they need it without having to be asked, coaches and support other team members. 

  • Planning and reviewing office services and maintain office standards. 

  • Allocate human resources and appropriate equipment to the staff. 

  • Provide accurate reporting to the managing director in a timely and effective manner. 

  • Assign work to the staff and look after their wellbeing and pastoral care needs. 

  • Provide training and supervision to the staff as and when necessary and monitor their work performance. 

  • Input and collate data collected in the orchard. 

  • Solve workflow problems by people management and liaise with the managing director of the company. 

  • Data management, manually and or by computer entries. 

  • Managing paperwork, records and information associated with the company. 

  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations, government legislations and polices are complied with. 

  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.

  • Location of the job: Bay of Plenty   
  • Hours of Work: A minimum of 30 hours per week 
  • Pay Range: $27.00 to $33.00 (based on the skills and experience)

Key Skills / Attributes: 

  • Must have a valid Class 1 New Zealand or Overseas Driving Licence

  • Punctual and reliable

  • Ability to follow policies and procedures of company guidelines and standards.
