About the Role
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager – Scrub/Scout, you’ll work closely with the Theatre NUM and clinical leadership team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care. This is a hands-on clinical and leadership role—ideal for a confident scrub/scout nurse ready to lead from the floor.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Delivering and supporting exceptional patient-centred perioperative care
  • Supervising and mentoring theatre staff
  • Assisting with rostering, workflow, and resource coordination
  • Driving quality, safety, and compliance standards in line with accreditation guidelines
  • Acting as a clinical and operational support across all surgical specialties



YOU'LL NEED:
  • AHPRA Registration

  • Eligibility to Work in Australia: Full working rights are required. Visas are not supported by the employer at this time.

  • Minimum 2 Years of Recent Experience in this role: Your extensive experience as a will allow you to bring confidence, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of ophthalmic procedures to the team

  • Outstanding Communication & Interpersonal Skills: You excel at staying calm, clear, and focused in high-pressure environments, ensuring seamless communication within the team and with patients.

  • Commitment to Exceptional Patient Care: You are dedicated to delivering the highest standard of care, ensuring every patient feels valued and well-supported throughout their treatment.

  • Team Player: You work collaboratively and take pride in contributing to the overall success of the team, understanding that great healthcare is a collective effort.
