About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Operating Theatre Floor Coordinator to lead and manage daily operations across our state-of-the-art surgical suites.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating theatre flow, liaising with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring smooth, safe and efficient surgical care delivery.

You’ll be the go-to person on the floor – guiding the surgical team, troubleshooting on-the-spot issues, and making real-time decisions that keep our patients safe and our theatres running seamlessly.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Overseeing day-to-day scheduling and theatre utilisation across multiple operating rooms
• Coordinating staffing, equipment, and patient flow to optimise surgical outcomes
• Acting as the clinical and operational lead during theatre sessions
• Supporting and mentoring perioperative staff to maintain a high-performing, cohesive team
• Collaborating closely with Surgeons, Anaesthetists, and Nursing Managers
• Contributing to ongoing quality improvements and clinical governance

What We’re Looking For

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
• Minimum 3 years’ perioperative experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role AND recent scrub experience -preferably in orthopaedics
• Eligibility to work in Australia
• Proven ability to lead in a high-pressure, fast-paced surgical environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, team-focused attitude
• Highly organised, with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
