A rare opportunity is now open for a Theatre Nurse / Scrub Scout– to join a highly skilled, supportive surgical team in a dynamic short-stay hospital. 

If you have scrub scout experience in Orthopaedics and are eager to expand into new specialities, this could be your perfect fit.

As a valued member of the perioperative team, you’ll be responsible for scrub and scout duties with a focus on Orthopaedics while also having the opportunity to work across other specialties.
You’ll also assist with admissions and discharge support when needed, contributing to a patient-first experience in a friendly, fast-paced day surgery environment.
Surgical specialties include:

• Minor Orthopaedics & General Surgery
• Plastics
• Ophthalmology
• Dental
• Dermatology & MOHs
• Endoscopy

YOU'LL NEED:

• AHPRA Registration
  
  
• Eligibility to Work in Australia: Full working rights are required. Visas are not supported by the employer at this time.
  
• Scrub/scout experience in Orthopaedics is essential
• Willingness to learn and assist in other surgical specialties
• Flexibility to work across early and late shifts (e.g., 6:30am starts or 12–9:30pm)
• Team player with strong communication skills and a passion for patient-centred care
