We are a busy, modern Korean-style chicken restaurant located in the heart of Auckland CBD,
just steps away from Aotea Square.
with a spacious dining area for guests and a dedicated event space for private functions and parties, we are set to become a go-to destination for authentic Korean style fried chicken cuisine and vibrant social gatherings.
We have already applied for liquor license and plan to offer a full dining and beverage experience soon!
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated Store Manager to lead the launch and day-to-day operation of our restaurant, and to manage the regular event in conjunction with the Auckland Council event calendar.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the culture and success of a new hospitality brand from the ground up.
You will be responsible not only for managing the restaurant's operations but also for driving marketing initiatives and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and customer service.
- Manage staff rosters, training, and customer service.
- Monitor inventory, supplier relationships, and stock control.
- Support the setup and coordination of private events and functions.
- Lead marketing efforts including social media, promotions, and local outreach.
- Assist in developing business strategies to grow customer base and revenue.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and licensing regulations
- Prepare for and manage liquor service once licensing is approved.
Whar We're Looking For:
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a similar food or restaurant environment.
- Minimum Diploma level qualification or higher will be preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Able to do rostered and Late-night shift including weekends and public holidays.
- Passion for Korean cuisine and hospitality.
- Experience or interest in marketing and business development.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of New Zealand food safety standards.(liquor license experience is a plus)
- A proactive, can-do attitude and a desire to grow with the business.
