Consultant Urologist

Delivery of planned care

• Take professional care and undertake delegated clinical responsibilities for patients admitted under your care
• Conduct outpatient clinics and ward round and other duties using the allocated time efficiently and effectively
• Supervise Registrars and House Officers
• Manage workload to ensure clinical time is reallocated where are cancellations
• Planned care activity target are met
• Participate in quality      assurance programmes
• Participation in the on-call roster

Communication

• Maintain high standard of written and verbal communication
• Maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff patients and relatives

Essential

• Vocationally registered with the NZ Medical Council as a Specialist Urologist or overseas doctors  eligible for Vocational registration
• Previous experience as a practitioner in Urological care at Specialist level
