We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Pizza Cook to join our team on permanent full time basis at Pizza Club Max Albany, Auckland, a fast-paced, customer-focused gourmet pizza store known for its unique Indian-inspired fusion flavours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook pizzas to order using commercial ovens and kitchen equipment

  • Make pizza dough and sauces from scratch according to house recipes

  • Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards

  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards

  • Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen during operations

  • Monitor oven temperatures, cooking times, and adjust processes for quality

  • Train and assist junior kitchen staff where required

  • Collaborate with the team on menu items, ingredients, and stock control

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a commercial kitchen or

  • Execute menu items featuring Indian fusion flavours—such as butter chicken, tandoori paneer, and spicy lamb variants etc.
  • A relevant NZ Level 4 qualification in cookery (or equivalent)

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment

  • Strong knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards

  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a passion for quality food

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Additional Information:

  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays on a rotating/variable roster

  • Position is available to New Zealanders (Residents and Citizens) and work visa holders
