We are looking for a confident and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our Maxican Restaurant at Darfield. We are looking for a motivated and inspiring leader who can ensure smooth and efficient restaurant operations that underpin a seamless customer experience, champion the values and vision, and drive success and engagement in the team.

Tasks include but are not limited to: -

Operational Management

·      Manage the daily operations of the café or restaurant to ensure efficient and smooth service.

·      Plan, coordinate, and organise special functions and events.

·      Take customer reservations and allocate seating.

·      Greet guests upon arrival and assist in taking orders during busy periods.

Staff Management

·      Recruit, train, supervise, and manage front-of-house and back-of-house staff.

·      Develop staff rosters based on business needs.

·      Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and conduct performance reviews.

·      Ensure all staff adhere to food safety, hygiene, and service standards.

Customer Service

·      Oversee the delivery of high-quality customer service.

·      Address and resolve customer complaints and feedback professionally.

·      Ensure guests have a positive dining experience from entry to exit.

Financial and Inventory Control

·      Monitor and manage budgets, sales targets, and operating costs.

·      Maintain stock levels, order supplies, and manage supplier relationships.

·      Prepare and present financial and operational reports.

 Compliance and Safety

·      Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including food safety, health and safety, employment law, and liquor licensing regulations.

·      Maintain all necessary permits and licenses.

·      Conduct routine inspections and audits to uphold hygiene and safety standards.
