Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and compile data on business and residential properties to identify potential customers for marketing efforts.

  • Communicate directly with prospective customers to understand their energy needs and consumption patterns.

  • Provide tailored solar system recommendations and solutions based on customers’ energy requirements.

  • Present proposals and close sales with customers.

  • Prepare quotations and negotiate prices and payment terms with customers.

  • Coordinate product installations to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.

  • Build strong customer relationships through in-person meetings and by assessing homes to tailor services effectively.

  • Follow up with customers to ensure systems are functioning properly and provide troubleshooting support to maintain satisfaction.

  • Report to senior management on sales and marketing strategies.

  • Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate records.

  • Conduct market research on solar energy solutions, competitor offerings, and industry standards to ensure competitive pricing.

  • Create and develop marketing materials and advertising campaigns to enhance brand awareness and promote solar identity.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant sales experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

  • Availability to work late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

  • A valid and clean driver’s licence.

  • Must have no criminal record.
