Job Description: Service Manager

Location: Kerikeri, Northland
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 30–45 hours per week (Monday to Saturday roster, occasional weekend work)
Pay Rate: $32–$35 per hour (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Dry Cleaning and Laundry Operations, ensuring the operation is performing
efficiently and to the established standards
- Recruiting, training, scheduling, and managing laundry personnel, reviewing staff
performance, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance and
adherence to procedures
- Implementing and upholding quality control procedures to ensure that all laundry
items meet the required standards for cleanliness, presentation, and condition
- Handling customer inquiries, complaints, and requests, resolving issues promptly and
efficiently to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. 
- Maintaining laundry equipment, including scheduling regular maintenance, repairs,
and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all equipment
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations within the laundry operation,
promoting a safe working environment for all staff. Reviewing safety procedures and
training staff on safe work practices
- Monitoring and managing inventory of laundry supplies, ensuring adequate stock
levels and coordinating with suppliers
- Developing budgets for labour, supplies, equipment, and other operating costs

You work well under pressure, bring fast solution for problems, have analytical skills for people
and business, are able to work independently, like to work with people and deliver excellent
customer service, good presentation, able to work weekends, as required.


Requirements:


-Bachelor qualification is a must,  OR alternatively at least two years of management experience.

- Motivated, good work attitude and good communication skills
- Appearance must be neat and tidy and well groomed
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Eye for detail
- Commitment to health and workplace safety
- Strong ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Able to pass health, drug and criminal checks if required
- Must have the right start work immediately in New Zealand
