What we are looking for
Essential for this position is a verifiable track record of experience in an executive
housekeeping management position that includes a strong staff management
component.
Police vetting and drug testing required.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Senior Executive
Housekeeping Manager to join our team. This is a management position reporting to the
director of the business.
This position requires a trustworthy, mature thinker with a can-do attitude, taking
charge of the team and tasks assigned to each client’s household project. This role
requires a well-presented and well-mannered personality.
No criminal record and a clean driver's license.
Own transportation is essential.
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
- At least 3 years of previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager (in
accommodation or hospitality) in a 5 or 6-star environment.
- Strong operational knowledge with demonstrated ability to implement and
maintain brand standards that go above and beyond even the highest 5-star
standards.
- A well-established track record as a staff manager.
- The ability to recruit, train, lead, develop and motivate a team.
- Exceptional eye for detail with an unwavering commitment to perfection in
every aspect of presentation.
- Effective time management and organisational skills with the ability to multitask.
- Full and clean drivers licence.
- No criminal record.
- Is happy to undergo regular drug testing.
The ideal candidate for this role will be able to:
- Oversee scheduling and delivery of services with high-end executive clients and
be able to accommodate last-minute requests.
- Manage a dedicated housekeeping team across multiple private residences.
- Provide inductions to new staff members and hands-on training in cleaning
techniques, presentation standards, and time management.
- Report to the director, budget and plan.
- Performed quality control inspections to ensure satisfaction in service delivery
and presentation.
- Provide operational reports to management, as well as reports to VIP clients to
meet individual service expectations.
- Oversee household and team inventories and implement and maintain a system
for restocking inventories.
This is a full-time position with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours work per week.
