Beach Club is one of Auckland’s premier destinations for Western cuisine, known for our modern fusion dishes, generous portions, and welcoming atmosphere.

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant and lead our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding service and driving business success.

Pay: Weekly

Location: Remuera, Auckland

Working Hours: 30 - 40 hours Weekly

Hour Rate: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

 

Key Responsibilities:

l  Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant.

l  Plan menus in collaboration with staff.

l  Organise and coordinate special functions.

l  Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff.

l  Collect and evaluate customer feedback to maintain a high standard of service.

l  Manage reservations, greet guests, and support order-taking as needed.

l  Ensure compliance with operational, health and safety, and food safety standards.

l  Deliver excellent customer service and uphold service excellence.

l  Advise customers on Western cuisine and manage inventory accordingly.

l  Develop and implement business growth strategies.

l  Identify and pursue opportunities for business development.

l  Maintain adequate stock levels while minimising waste.

l  Ensure the restaurant is clean, well-presented, and that all stock is appropriately displayed.

l  Plan and execute marketing and promotional campaigns.

l  Manage and regularly update the Uber Eats menu.

About You:

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

l  Hold a New Zealand qualification at NZQF Level 5 or higher in a relevant field, a bachelor’s degree or higher, or at least two years of relevant work experience.

l  Strong leadership, marketing, and communication skills.

l  A proactive and motivated approach with the ability to perform well under pressure.

l  A solid understanding of hospitality operations.

l  Availability to work weekends and flexibility to cover early or late shifts, as the restaurant operates five days per week.

l  A clean criminal record and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
