April Coffee Limited T/A Red Rabbit Parnell is a beloved specialty café located in the heart of Parnell, Auckland. We are passionate about great coffee, fresh food, and delivering an exceptional customer experience. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated Café Manager to lead our team and ensure smooth daily operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily café operations including staff management, stock control, and customer service.

  • Recruit, train, roster, and supervise front-of-house staff.

  • Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety, food safety, and hygiene regulations.

  • Manage stock levels, place orders with suppliers, and maintain inventory records.

  • Handle budgeting, sales targets, and financial performance reporting.

  • Coordinate promotional activities and contribute to social media and marketing strategies.

  • Liaise with the kitchen and coffee roasting team to maintain consistent service and quality.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification , or at least two years of relevant work experience.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.

  • Knowledge of specialty coffee is highly desirable.

  • Excellent understanding of food safety standards and hospitality regulations.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage a dynamic team.

  • Flexible and available to work on weekends and public holidays as required.
